Right, this is a little early so it's a UKRM exclusive at this point in
time.

One of the vehicles I have to get rid of before moving to Leftpondia is
my BMW - too new to import without major hassle. So, if anybody is
looking for a very competent tourer this might be the one you're
looking for if you're not Lozzo.

Y-plate blue R1150RT, approx 67k (still going up), MOT 11/10, Tax 5/10.
Bought from my BMW specialist (BGM motorcycles[1], a few UKRMers use
him as well) w/ 25k on the clock in Nov 2007. Full service history,
first main dealer, the rest at BGM. This includes all the annual
services that tend to get skipped "because you don't need to change
brake fluid that often" or similar excuses.

I'm pretty sure it's got all available extras (radio, ABS, heated grips
etc).

Bike comes with:
- Full luggage including top box
- Regular height and tall/wide touring screen (latter is currently
fitted)
- BMW touring seat, which is predictably not very good, plus a Corbin
heated seat (not wired in), which is *very* good

Looking for around 3750 due to the extras but willing to do a little
haggling. Ideally the bike would be available mid- to end-March but I'd
be willing to get rid of it earlier for the right deal.

I'd consider p/x for a pre-1985 airhead, either a G/S / GS or an R90S
obviously with a little cash either way.

Located in Ashford, Kent.

Nothing damages a machine more than an ignoramus with a manual, a

Forgot to mention that in addition to the above, it also comes with
the R1150RT-specific Migsel RAM mount (Google it) and is prewired for
a Garmin 2XXX GPS (I used both a 2610 and a 2820 on it). The latter
means it can also power the BMW Motorrad Navigator 'cos that's a
Garmin in Lederhosen.

A couple of pics after a quick hose down last Saturday. I'll hopefully
get around to cleaning it up a little better this w/e as I'll have to
put it on ebay in the next few days.

Anyway, here we are:
