OK, this is silly. For some reason a year ago Agent stopped posting a
sig. No biggie, I'll just type it. But it is starting to bug me. It
happens on both my laptop and this PC. Gone into options, selected
signature, typed it into the box. Also created a sig.txt file and
point Agent at that and still nothing.

Anyone go any ideas what I am missing here? It's the way I have been
doing it for 15 years. What has changed?

Therein lies your problem; Agent hasn't really been updated in at least
fifteen years.

Things to investigate...
1. Is there an error log you can access?
2. Does it perhaps post errors to the Windows Application event log?
3. Have you tried installing a fresh copy on a third computer, without
importing any of your preferences, to see if that exhibits the same problem?
4. Did the poblem appear on both your computers at the same time? If so, it
could be your news provider stripping sigs?

None of those are qualified opinions; it's merely the process of elimination
I'd follow if I was in that situation.

Weird thinkg is one of the UKRM'ers suggested making sure I had a
valid email address entered in my profile. OK. Did that and it works
on this PC. But not on my laptop. Still weird. Oh well. It's only a
****y little sig anyway. I just don't like things not working as they
should.
