Today is a special day, set aside to remember and give thanks to those
who gave their all, their lives, in service to our country. We thank
all the men and women who have served our country in the armed
forces. Your sacrifices and those of your families are not forgotten
and you are all appreciated each and every day.
Say "thank you" to a Veteran for their part in helping to keep you and
this country free!
We ask that our troops, where ever they may be, come home safe.

Thank you all, God Bless.

Sunny Williams, Chaplain,
Texas Veterans Association, Chapter 3

I appreciate that the troops have kept the world free, so that I may
enjoy my overindulgent American lifestyle, and watch this Land of the
Lost marathon on the Sci-Fi channel.

Whatever trips y'alls triggers.

There was a nice Memorial Day service at the court house here today.
Our Texas Veterans Chapter 3 was responsible for getting and setting
up chairs. After the service, we loaded up the trailers with chairs,
Joe hopped in the truck and headed back to the American Legion hall,
I caught a ride on the back of my friend and club brother's Gold wing.
I wasn't even 'askeered'.
Robert said he doesn't like to ride alone and his wife works all the
time. I told him I'd ride with him any time, just drop by and if I'm
not up to riding my own, I'll sit on the back of his GW and keep my
mouth shut. He said if I did that, I couldn't go... he doesn't want
me to fall asleep like Jane does. LOL

Y'all have a great day, ride safe.
Sunny

heh, your velkommenen. I'd forgotten how atrocious the acting was on
that show...but oddly enough good story telling, simple not overly
complicated. But that acting...
