Access to drill is a bit tricky with the motor still in the frame. I'm
just about to give it all another good squirt of penetrating fluid with
a view to a renewed assault in the morning.

It's off.

Mainly, I suspect, as a result of soaking it in penetrating oil every
day. I would have rigged up a plasticene 'cup' round it to hold a
reservoir if I had some to hand.

Finally succumbed to a standard socket and bar whacked with a Thor
hammer whilst in gear and the back wheel not even jammed.

Didn't get there. Date mix-up. had to go down to my Ma's old house to
clear 'stuff'. No hurry, anyway.
