Where can I get gearbox internals for TT600s '89?

Are gear ratios for '89 TT600s the same as XT600 models.

Where can I get used rear shock and resevoir for '89 TT600s?

Where can I get my shock absorber shaft rechromed in UK?

If Yamaha does not stock them any more, you will have to
get used ones (slim chance) or buy a used donor engine.

Try asking Yamaha or find specialised internet owner forums
for the Yamaha dual sport line (it will help if you can read
German ;-)). The chance of someone on a general group or
forum knowing this is small.

As the gearbox casing is (as far as I know) the same, you might
just try and find primary gear ratio and chain drive ratio for
both bikes and from this you should be able to judge wether the
gear ratios will work. No guarantee on this advise!

Used shock for old bike from another old bike = waste of
money. If you really want to invest in this project, find a
aftermarket replacement shock.

Not a clue. Requires unbelievable precision and replacement
of seal parts, might a new Hagon unit be more economical?
