Howdy y'all,

I've got a mate over from the sunny U.K. who has a provisional UK
riders license and I'm thinking of hiring a bike for him and taking
him for a spin.

Anyone out there had any experiences hiring bikes with such a
license?? Apparently the U.K. provisional license is only good up to
125cc's (for whatever good that is!!) so I dont know if he'll be able
to blag a 250cc or not....

Ta!

Sounds like a question to ask the people who hire the bikes out. They're the
one's who'll really care. Your mate probably won't care if he's breaking the
law, if he's going back home anyway a fine or court appearance probably won't
be much of a deterrent.

Dont be too sure about that. I know this 'dude' hes a rugby player he went
to the UK on tour with some australian club... anyway...
got into a bar fight, he was 19 i think at the time (last couple of years).
broke a bottle and slashed some guy. sounds extreme but im sure its in us
all under certain surcumstances, anyway. the aussie embasy cut him loose and
took his passport. His teammates came home and he had some sort of sentance
cost his parents a fortune. Cant remember the whole story but i dont recon
you can cause **** and just do the bolt.
Ok this is somewhat more serious than riding a bike your licence doesnt
allow you get the point.

Love

Mick
