And stick the old sod on the top of it.

And make sure you do it quickly because the price is going up by 27%
(£42 to £53 IIRC) very soon so I think there will be a mad rush to avoid
the price rise.

Be very careful to get a compatible photograph that meets the new
parameters they require. I can recommend the special "check and send"
service that the post office do. It costs £7 but they very carefully
check your photos and verify your documents and application. It also
potentially saves you a week because they do some of the checks and
process the payment that the passport office would normally do.

Mine went in for renewal today - I just hope it gets back by 24 December
2005 or else I'm not off on an aeroplane to distant lands. And yes I do
know they say "don't book any travel if you're waiting for a first
passport or a renewal".

He's done this before - he disappeared for months and got something
resembling a life. He's lived for 3½ centuries so I think we can take
it as read that he knows how to look after himself.

<snip bit>

If he found a shag as a teenager he would disappear from pub life for a
while - until shag came to her (its?) senses usually.

It's ****ing awful having someone on-group who knows you of old. I fear
the day a couple of guys who post here decide to tell of my distant and
highly dubious past.
