My windshield on my 35 year old bike has some light scratches and kind
of dirty. Any suggestions on what to use to clean it up and remove the
scratches?

Sometimes Brasso works, but other times it makes it look too foggy to
see through.

Try a white toothpaste. I used it on a face shield, and it worked great.
