Nothing shits me more on my ride through the countryside than the gentle
pitter-patter of insects on my visor.
How do you cope with it? Any tips?

Ride behind one of them ****wits on a harley with ApeHangers, nothing
gets past them, but the stench from the armpits, and the slow speed
gets ****in annoying after around 10feet.

* tuck behind the fairing ala racing style
* shove some earphones in your helmet and listen to the music
* wear ear plugs
* get industrial deafness - guarantee all you'll hear then is a constant
ringing
* slow down and go slower
* buy a noiser helmet
* build a bridge ... and get over it

Try it in a swarm of locusts, they hit every exposed part of your body,
and at 100 Km/h actually hurt if they hit fingers even through gloves. I
was picking bits of desiccated locust out of the bike for months after
that trip
