I can think of another 41 y/o, who's staying retired unfortunately...

Blimey! I thought I heard someone say, on the BBC coverage, that
they couldn't bring test riders into the competition. Someone was mistaken,
I guess.

Makes sense. He's the test rider, so he will get a whiff of the bike in
competition, and interact with the team at races.

Too bad Crutchlow decided against it. It would have been quite a load,
though, since he wouldn't have given up his WSBK rides.
