Running wide through a corner near you... soon.

In other news, I remember reading an article once on race-prepping a Guzzi
Daytona 1000... one of the weight-saving measures was the removal of the
bike's_alternators_... wtf? Alternator_s?_Plural?

Alternate - One or the other.

Probably the starter. Removing the alternator and the starter motor
from a Guzzi would save about 20 kgs. A battery just to run the
ignition for an hour would save another 10. A rigorous diet by the
rider, 35.

Z13's also came with a sub alternator. Amazing what electrical goodies you
can get for them.

A blender, maybe?
A topbox which is really a microwave?
A pannier which is really a front-loading washing machine?

;-)

That makes sense. One alternator for the bike and a 240V jobbie for
the espresso machine. I'd do it but mine has to be plumbed in (no
reservoir) and that would be a bitch.
