while ridiing the rpms suddenly start to go way down like 500 and
throttle responce is lacking. the needle floats between 0 and 500 rpms
and then stalls. this also happens while i’m riding i’ll notice the
throttle response is not there. the next thing i know the bike stalls.
it happens when i disengage the clutch the rpms drop to very low
levels. but when i start the bike to go ride its revs at about 1300
rpms. i don’t know what could cause the rpms to drop like that. if you
    know please help.

  2. Your motorbike has a safety interlock system that will shut the engine
off if you are in gear with the side stand down. The owner's manual
probably calls for it to be cleaned and adjusted every so many thousand
miles. Check the switch and also check the clutch interlock switch to
make sure it's working smoothly and making good contact everytime you
    release the clutch lever

Do you have fuel injection, or carburetors? The fuel-injected models
probably go into idle lean mode when you pull the clutch lever in and
the throttle position switch tells the engine control unit that the
throttle is closed. You might have a bad throttle position switch...

If you have carburetors, I would suspect that the idle mixture ports
are getting dirty from gum and varnish buildup. You can google for
"CV carburetor +varnish" and find about 1000 posts about how to clean
    out CV carburetors.
