Hah! Where's the MZ then? Couldn't these buggers afford a calendar or
    something?

  4. I like the fact that a Lambo Diabo is no faster over the quater than an '86
    GPZ600R.

Easier to get a Sportster to pull 11s than a 125 though...

Most of those figures are conservative. I've seen eyeabusers do 9.8 and
    Triumph Daytonas do 10.7.

They've got 11.3 for my model and even I managed 11.5 on the first outing
with my fat arse on it despite it being only 2 months old and on stock
    over-tall gearing.

Don't feel bad, Doug. We all had fat arses when we were two months old.

Actually, Talking about 1/4Miles, I'm thinking off heading to Calder
Park Streetdrags in 2 weeks, I believe they're on every Friday night now. We
should get a few off us down there, would be a good night, grudge matches &
    all.
At the moment, there'll be me & a mate with his 88 moded RX7, Prob
    another 2 mates with blades, ones a 2003 & the other a 1996.
Looking at that 1/4 mile list gives me a time to aim for if not beat. I
took the GPX250 a few Yrs ago & did a best of 15.82sec with a slipping
clutch. Everybody should give it ago at some stage, It's a blast.
