The TV show "Greatest Ever" on OLN has run this episode of the
greatest bikes ever a few times.

So without too much comment from me, here are the bikes they rated as
    the ten greatest bikes ever.

Hmmm not a bagger in the bunch.

    10) Knucklehead
The Great Great Great Grandfather of the cruisers you see today

    9) Moto Guzzi V-8 Race Bike
A perfect combination of genius and madness

    8) The Vespa
Element of chemistry where engineering and art flow together.

    7) Brough Superior
The ultimate in performance and luxury. Brand new it was $400.00

    6) John Britain's V-1000
Built in a garage the V-1000 cleaned up at the track.

    5) Triumph Bonneville
The bike Brando made Famous in the Wild One. It defined high
performance on two wheels for a decade.

    4) The Exceptional Y2K
    An exercise in technological masturbation

    3) Honda CB750
The ultimate motorcycle of it's time. It changed the way motorcycles
    in general were designed.

    2) Ducati 916
It was the perfect combination of sound, racing success and riding
    experience

    1) The Honda Cub
Honda sold over 40 million Cubs. Nuff said.

Well I could expand on the 40 million and point out the cub introduced
generations to riding on two wheels and the bike was virtually
indestructible. Of course you could say a Big Mac is indestructible,
    also undigestible.
