One of our 350 Honda twins is a 1972 with the single disc brake front
brake. I cannot get the brake pads to retract enough so that the front
wheel turns freely. We have rebuilt everything and cleaned and
recleaned the master cylinder and wheel cylinder with only slight
    improvement. Any suggestions??
    Thanks. Jim

Are you SURE you got those little spring clips in right?

Perhaps, you have too much brake fluid in the system?

  5. I ran into that myself. It was the cup in the master. As it wears down the
grove in it smoothes out. And wont let the fluid bleed back. So it holds
pressure on the brakes. Eventually it will start to lock brakes. This may
not be whats going on with yours, but could be? Hope this may help you in
    the right direction.
