So the TC 125 arrived the other day via Forward Air. So I finally got around to putting gas and oil in it. Then I see the a quart 2-stroke oil pour out of some side cover behind the front sprocket. WTF! I see the oil line goes through a rubber grommet in the case above the leak. So I remove the side cover access to the oil pump. (BTW, what a stupid place for the pump...) Any way I see that the oil line has disconnected from the pump. But in order to get the line back on I'll need to remove all the left side covers, this will be a pain. The Yamaha DT 175s are much easier to work on, but I digress. Anyway I call the seller and it turns out he has been running 50:1 gas/oil and not using the injection. Is that right? I would have run 40:1. Should I continue running it this way or should I attempt to repair the oil pump / oil line fitting? It seems to foul plugs, are carb adjustments necessary when running gas/oil and no oil injection? Bryan Bryan
