It's always a little bit of comparing apples and oranges, but I just
finished watching the 1998 season re-cap video tape of British Superbikes
and have to say it is the most entertaining racing I've ever seen.
I'm not sure if that was a particularly good year for BSB, but IMHO it was
better than GP or AMA racing that I've seen.
The tracks were nice and full of character (maybe not Silverstone so much),
the racing was fast and close and there was a healthy mix of different bikes
up front. It also seemed like the privateers were usually only barely
caught on the last lap. There was also a pretty good amount of on-bike
    camera work.
If the other years are comparable I might have to place another order now.
