Are you able to wear corrective contact lenses and then thinner
glasses in your glasses over or is your condition not as simple as
    that?

    BGN says...
It's not as simple as that. I have serious double vision that the prism
corrects and long-sightedness in only my left eye. They can't correct
the double vision with contacts and even if they could the lenses would
be stupidly thick to take in my prescription as well, so I'm left with
    only the thick glasses option.

  7. Hey, look on the good side, you get an impaired life pension. <snort>

Sympathies, mate, it's a bastard thing to have.

  8. I am in violent agreement; I garden ferociously, and the lenses have
    survived it well.

The stick on things in my specs only cost a few quid too, but look
utterly gash. Mind you, lenses 10mm thick will look utterly spazmoid, so
I may just forget about wearing specs altogether and just crash lots,
but I'll look fucking gorgeous doing so.

  13. Continually feeling aggressive[1] especially when drinking lucozade to
    combat the tiredness..

    Phil.

[1] OK - more aggressive. As if anyone would notice.

  14. Partly - it's also the body doing its best to flush away all the
    glucose that it can't metabolise.

If you don't drink a lot you get dehydrated very quickly.
