I think she was generally unimpressed with being on a bike rather than
    being on my particular bike.

Also, she says feels that motorcyclist types (particularly female ones)
    are all a bit rough.

And this bike, were you riding it at the time?
Of course they are. Why do you think full-face helmets are so popular?

Our daughter first rode with me when she was about 6, often fairly
long distances between campsites and general ride outs (with her Mum
on a second bike). Whilst she quite enjoyed the feel and 'difference'
of bikes (compared with the car) she was more restricted as to what
she could do, other than talk to me over the intercom (poor little cow
<g>) or listen to music. She could draw / play music in the car etc.
We did have some pretty deep and interesting conversations though and
    you think I can talk!

However, at about the same time she have her own PW50 and later a TY80
so she could relate the experience she knew from the front as a
pillion. I'm pretty sure both experiences helped her though road
    riding and test just recently.

The guy who first helped her on the geared bike and a very very
proficient rider / Instructor said ... "She's a very good and
    confident little rider". ;-)

Much to my Mums dismay our daughter was on a scooter before she was
born (the Wife was riding the B-Wiz at the time) and that might have
something to do with her bike interests right now. ;-)
Funny that, pulling up at a biker watering hole you'd think you were
in for a hard time, but in our experience you generally couldn't find
a bunch of more friendly folk. Ok you get the off nob or nutter (well,
that's most of us probably) but no more than you would re life in
    general? ;-)

    All the best ..

Riding pillion is shit. I hate it. I'd rather take the bus.

Whilst I agree in general, I'd draw the line at the bus!

You do have some control, try leaning the opposite way when going round
a corner. Kicking the rider under the arm pits doesn't always alter
    anything though.
