2 m/c questions

  1. Jesus Chris, #46 by M I L E S and he aint finished yet,be interesting to see
what damage(if any) this season will do to his UNMATCHED 50% win rate....

Unlike the guy he replaced and in general who only raced and won against
spastics like,Creville & Okada, Rossi has had to do it much harder and my
    God still only 24 YO
As for past i cannot comment other than saying Ago will prob. have the most
championships won by a singlr rider record forever and ever, depends on Rossi
really and if he gets sick of going around in circles ?

actually make it three coz i cant count

who in your opinion are the worlds 2 best m/c riders (rotty you may not
include yourself) amd why are they iyho

to make it more fun , it has to be broken down into current ie still racing
, retired - still alive and historic - most likely dead.

ie i might answer agostini and sheen ....

secondly - whats the opinion as to the best non-efi gsxr750 , for good
measure you can break it down
into water cooled and air/oil cooled versions.

thirldy - ditto for the gsxr1100

  3. you need a brain for that, and i dont count any hatz

Hatz has to be, he keeps telling everyone...

this bloke on the goldcoast called zameil with 92ish GSXR750, with rf900
internals and fully customized with fancy stuff. Sounds like an indy car
    too...

    What?
Quite the opposite. Doohan's peers were mostly superior to today's also
rans. There were only 3 or so guys who could really master a 500 stroker.
Now there are a whole host of blokes who can get good lap times out of the
smoother 4 stroke bikes. Rossi still beats 'em, sure.

    Current: Rossi and Barros.
    Retired: Hailwood and Saarinen.
The first one. It was such a radical bike for it's day and was the first or
second (I can't remember which one hit the showrooms first), with the FZ750,
    100hp 750.
Probably the first one of those too though I never paid much attention to
them. I remember one of the Suzuki punters of the time (maybe Phillis?)
being pissed off with his 1000 SBK engine always detonating won a SBK race
with a standard GSXR1100 motor in his bike, he was excluded from the
official results of course because of the 1000cc limit in place at the time.

The late great Robert Holden did this with a GSXR1100 engine in a GSXR750 at
Surfers Paradise in a proddy race about 1986.
He was trying to stay off the podium 'cause the first three were
scrutineered but there were a few retirements and he was elevated to third
    and then disqualified.
....and the concept of the 7/11 was born.

  8. I think I missed a bit here, how did we get from an 1100 motor in a 750
frame to a servo with no mechanic and a slurpee machine?

big (Did someone say literal week?)
