I won't be staying that long, but I'm planning on coming down during the
afternoon for a couple of hours so that Caitlin can say hello to
    everyone.

What do you find wrong with it? I've found it does exactly what it said it
    would do...

The form filler on the other hand appears to be a bit naff.

i haven't worked out any way of getting from WES annual dinner (last as a
council member so no skiving) to EOSM on sat night, but i'll be there on
    sunday.

please hang around to say hello.

Dunno - for me it depends on what's happening the night before -
someone had mentioned a London piss-up, which I might attend if I can
get a bed for the night, which would probably not lend itself to an
    early start in the morning...

  13. When (and if!) we turn up. My ability to judge journey times on the
bike, compared to in the car is like, non-existant. And whatever time
Will would estimate generally doesn't quite take my slowness into
    account.

I've made a 25 mile round trip last an hour, FFS!

  15. You will wave as you pass us then, won't you? I reckon it'll take me
about 4 hours from here, with stops and all...

  16. Uh? 4 hours from Cambridge to the Black Horse. What way you are going
    - via Newcastle? I'm Mr Slow and Dependable and it only takes me 3
hours from London [1] going via the A1 and nice twisty A roads
    interspersed with villages.

That right twisty grip thing is called a throttle you know!

I'm still not decided if I'm turning up or not.

[1] barring 100mph [1] pheasant / BMW near misses on the AI near
    Peterborough.
[2] that's the bike not the pheasant

Aye, it shouldn't take more than two, even for a slow rider.

    too long.

G'wan g'wan you know you want to really.
