    April/May/June/July/August/September last year.

I don't do a huge amount of riding, but cover fairly large distances
when I do, plus we tend to take it abroad at least once a year - or hire
a bike abroad. Last year we had a week in France, plus a week on a hired
    bike in Portugal.
    And you're a ****, too.

  5. I stayed at the Premier Inn when I was Cordened. It was complete
shit. Next time, I'd look in the Good Pub Guide for a Good Pub with
    rooms.

The Good Pub Food Guide has been very useful for me in this respect in
the past. Decent nosh seems to imply a decent standard of kippery.

  8. The Good Pub Guide rates for kippery as well as grub. When I'm
travelling in the UK (which is not so frequently, these days) I always
select a pub from it, in preference to a plastic hotel. Frequently
better food, much nicer, decent company, facilities every bit as good,
and it keeps the company bean countyers happy because it's so much
    cheaper.

Just do the training and **** the exam. Unless it gives you a "significant"
insurance discount, I just don't see the point.

What is it with the (over)use of the word Significant, atm?

At last, a chef who knows how to cook scallops. Fresh as a daisy,
flashed off at high temperature for a very short time, so still
    succulent, wonderful sauce[/QUOTE]

I occasionally stay in a place near Yeovil that does the *best* scallops
    I've ever had.

Served on the shell with a hint of garlic and just fucking lovely.

Now what the **** was it called?..

Of course, it's probably changed hands by now. I've not stayed there for
    a year or so,

True, but I get paid to go there.

And my punter has offices a hundred yards from the Screwfix outlet shop.

    Dangerous place.

I've been stopping in a boozer in Kendal that correctly gives the
appearance of being a right dive but the old granny that does the
cooking serves up really nice food. The downside is that she thinks
that because she actually cooks the food rather than ping it she can
    dictate what time you eat.
