You should've had a go on mine, especially with it being a kosha SP too.
It's definately the best-handling bike I've ever owned.

  3. A workshop I was in yonks back had some of these...

    http://www.garagewizards.com/catalogue/product.asp?Product=33

But much sturdier, steel-topped and bombproof.

The concept really works well, allowing you to push your workbench right
next to where you're working - you don't have to bend down for your
tools all the time and with a vice on the table it's dead handy.

Hmm... looking at the price of them, I'd rather build my own.

I'm often right, except for when I'm wrong.
No, it's 00:55 on jesusfest day, and not at all the time for that kind
of thing. If my memory hasn't completely failed me there are far better
    times.
    I daren't even picture that.

I *wish* I'd included that on my Aus trip, but as I've not properly done
Japan it's on the go back one. My worry is the go back one might just
be one way, my other worry is that I idealised upside-downland so much
because I was on holiday there.
    Hell no.
I *tried* that this year, but the nonsense of being on call for the week
between the TV material and the assignment due date of my course made it
tricky... One for when I've sorted out my next role at work, or moved
    on, maybe.

No, actually, that makes a lot of sense.[/QUOTE]

    And I haven't had a drop yet.

There is a list of places and alpine passes between Gothenburg
and Susa in Italy on the table. Plus a few gravel roads around
Susa that promises to be "interesting" on the TDM.

In my head there are a few other:
    - Learn to ride standing up, without stalling, trough the
damn rock gardens on the enduro track.
    - Do some real brake training.
    - Work on my cornering (it's been going from bad to worse).
    - Do a bike night orienteering again.

    Do you have a garden?

  16. Yes. But that doesn't help on many levels.

We could leave all the decent ones at the back and put the shit ones
    at the front.

  18. 1) decent bikes in UKRM?
    2) I don't live in or near Amsterdam.
    3) You wouldn't want to put your bike in my back garden:

Okay, "pre-disastered" bikes at the back and "post-disastered" bikes
    in front.
That saves budgeting for secure parking in Amsterdam.
Bike needs a good clean anyway.
