Is that bike ugly, or what?

Well he's been saying it hasn't been that great in the 5 days or so of
testing so far and it's not yet faster than the old bike. But it's early
    days.

But that's not really the point. It just looks really ugly from where
I'm sitting. And yeah, I thought last year's bike looked pretty ugly
too. If anything the 2008 bike looks even more like it's got bits of
    plastic stuck on with superglue.

Seems to me "shiny" is not the only difference. Am I wrong?

  5. So you try to put me down, then agree with me.

    Thank you Mark.

  6. Far better than pithy, sarcastic, and snide 50 sentence bleatings.

  7. Thanks for bringing something obvious (or should I say, nothing) to the
    thread, you hypocrite.

I loved the 2007 RC212V... The rear tire huger, the tail, the near
    naked body work...

And I like the front fairing on the 2008 RC212V also.

    Am I too easily pleased??

Now, now. Carl's, Alexey's, et.al. deflating of your monotony is more
entertaining and (and no less informative) than your odes to all things
'merican, so you should appreciate them for giving life to a newsgroup that
would otherwise just be rec.nusbaum.homophobic.projections. Don't sell
yourself short, though -- the www probably has an eager audience for your
verbose redneckery, so you don't need to get too agitated when your minute
sliver of internets turf is threatened by "assholes" and "cunts" (you're so
    butch!).

As much as I think the 2007 212 was a big mistake, you do have to hand
it to Honda for making something that looked different, even though it
really didn't look like what one thinks of as a GP race bike. My issue
in part is it actually looks like what it was - look at this picture
    of Pedrosa - http://www.roadracingworld.com/enlarge/?section=news&image=688
    - and slice that bike in two horizontally. To me the bottom half
loooks like a MotoGP machine, but the top half looks like a 250 or -
dare I say it - a 125. Which, when you think about it, is kind of what
    was intended...
I like the look of it in this picture:
    http://www.superbikeplanet.com/image/2007/mgp/endofseasontest/2/8.htm
Particularly those pipes with the short, sharp tail piece.
    Different strokes...
