  3. And more to come with the Ulster GP. For some reason they didn't cover
the races in the same series in the Republic over the past two months -
probably didn't want to step on any toes, but it's not as if RTE cover
    bike racing anyway.

Bit of a bummer to hear Cameron Donald is out of action - I was looking
forward to seeing his brand of lunacy.

On a slightly different note, does anyone know if the Sky+
record by SMS feature[1] is up and running yet[2] and if so,
is it easy to set up?

Fair point though the Oirish variants tend not to have so many walls and
gateposts (NW200 excluded) and be 1 or 2 miles long.
I think the Kells route in ROI is the most bonkers I've seen, wings and
    air brakes being required.

A few years ago there was a big row on the Yahoo MV group between
Dwight Mitchell (who raced an MV at the TT that year) & Phil Read. I
unremember the exact details, but it was something like Dwight refusing
an offer of some magnesium parts from the factory (wheels etc) because
he wasn't happy they'd survive the TT course bumps. Phil made it quite
clear what he thought of that decision! Who was right d'ya reckon?

  8. It was you I was thinking of when I posted the info - a friendly
shortcut given that there was only 30 mins or so from Grimley's post and
    the programme starting.

  9. It's usually the Monday evening after the event, for the smaller ones
anyway. I see the Ulster GP bike week is actually 16th-19th August but
the coverage is on the 28th.

    Other dates I have are;

August 20th - Clubmans, Modello Park

Sep 2nd - Short Circuit, Kirkistown

    3rd - Dundalk

    10th - Killalane, Skerries

    17th - Ballybunion

    24th - Mondello Park

    Oct 14th - Bishopscourt

Going by previous form I suppose BBC NI won't cover the Republic venues.
