Mick does not own Ferrari's, he drives AMG Mercedes.

He was being held from behind and swung his head backwards giving the
    bouncer a fat lip!

Not exactly a Head Butt is it.

doohan paid for and picked up his Ferrari F355F1 from Maranello
It..Indeed he owns one, he loves Italian engineering!

He keeps it in Monaco home

The Benz he has [not the one he wrote off in Targa] is a freebie from

I think he may have sold the Ferrari.
"Doohan's first car was a gold-beige 1975 Holden Kingswood HJ station wagon.
Aged 17, he paid $1,000 for it and kept it for a couple of years.

Since then he's owned two Porsches (a 911 Turbo and a 928 GT), a Ferrari
F355 hardtop (which he sold after six months) and now has a fleet of five
Mercedes: two C Classes, an ML430, and E55 and, his favourite, an E60
specially built by German tuning house AMG."
