If anyone wants a cheap front 011 (600 running-in miles) let me know.
You're taking this a bit seriously, aren't you - changing a nearly new front just cos you had to replace a punctured rear.
Well I'm taking it seriously enough to not crash while riding away from the tyre shop, if that's what you mean.
As other replies: Punctured rear, gives me a choice of replacing with another 012 or an 014 but I wanted Diablo Corsars after the Bridgestones [1] so I went with a set of them, leaving me the 011 to get rid of. [1] yes, I am a tyre expert before anyone asks.
I am? Oh, ok. No doubt someone will spell it out for me eventually, once you youngsters have had your fun.
maybe I'm just hyper-intelligent and ultra-intuitive, but I just automatically assumed that someone with a nearly-new bike offering just a nearly-new front tyre for sale would have had an unfixable rear puncture and decided that rather than just replacing the OE rear, they wanted to put on stickier rubber all round. And it turned out that this was exactly the case. As I said, maybe it's just me.
What's drole? I simply had a puncture and replaced my tyres. No joke involved, I'm just offering a cheap tyre if anyone wants one. Weirdo.
