That was sent while on the phone to Optus....

The phone support person is telling me that everything is working
fine.

Their news server is still claiming no new messages.

Or none that your reader knows about.

Try using a reader you haven't used before, not made by the same
company as made the ones you are using. Then subscribe to aus.moto.
The idea is to make sure that you start with a brand new news database
so if the numbers on your news server have changed, you see anything
new that has these new numbers.

Be nice, Zebee. I'm retired from all that shit and wouldn't try
using the Micro$oft stuff for a pension.

Did that, and it showed me the last "new" message I got from Optus, a
couple of days ago.

I'd assume it's their problem to clean out their "where-are-we-upto"
pointers.

I must admit to being surprised that that worked.

No offence to you GB, rather that I expected Optus to have blocked it
somehow.

Had done that anyway...many times....many,many times!
