Is how long I was back on my side of the road after an overtake before
the cage coming the other way passed me and I *still* got flashed at.

    It's not just bikes mate.
I get it regularly in our Multipla.

  4. 1. By his lights, you're obviously an anti-social hothead who tears
around the place frightening old women and torturing animals. You ride a
bike, so that's enough for him.

Did you spot a Daily Mail on his rear window shelf, by any chance?

    2. You're a reckless waster of the planet's resources by having the
temerity to be out enjoying yourself on a fuel-wasting mode of transport
just for fun. And frightening old ladies, etc.

Did you spot a Guardian on his rear window shelf?

Teach a man to fish and he and his pikey mates will have the
river cleaned out in a day.

  5. He was undoubtedly a biker confined for whatever reason to his bitch's
cage for the day and being helpful by warning you, his biker mate having
more fun than he was, of a hidden mobile camera further up the road.
Considering the rather cuntish way you have responded to his kind,
generous and free offer of help I will laugh my bollox off when you post
to say the nip has arrived in a couple of weeks time.

  6. Maybe, just maybe, the driver was warning you of a danger ahead of you.

Prepare to be disappointed, I was overtaking a queue of traffic held up
behind a shed dragger and didn't exceed the speed limit (much).

Pah - see if you can do the same but with you in the car, and the
    aggrieved party on a bike.

If that happened , I'd just assume it was an old codger like Auvache on
    the bike :)

  16. If it was Auvache on the bike you can bet your life the overtaking
manoeuvre would have been conducted at full throttle and I would have no
idea what speed I would have been doing. Looking at clocks is for those
going so slow they have nothing else to concentrate on.

Who needs to look at the clocks to know how fast you're going?

That's a completely different thing - they're flashing to let you know that
your car is too ugly to be on the road.
