3M protectant film installer?

  1. I'm looking to get 3M protectant film installed on the side covers of my
new-to-me Triumph Thunderbird Sport, so that the ankle protectors on my
boots don't completely screw up the paint job. I don't really want to cut
and do it myself, partially because I'm lazy, and partially because I know
how well that went with the screen covers on my PDAs. It was a freakin'
nightmare on a 3" screen, so I can't imagine it'd be any more fun on a
    curved bit of bodywork.

Anyone know a local shop that'll do custom film installs? Obviously, there
won't be a kit for my bike--it's nowhere near popular enough--so I need
someone who'll actually trace and cut.

  2. Have you looked at these folks?

They have lots of weird bikes on there - I'd email them...
I put one of their tank sets on my Monster - it's ridiculously easy.

The difference between this and a PDA screen is the liberal application
of water...helps get the bubbles out.
