SWMBO & I will be there on the Sunday unless it's pissing down.

Which is probably why they've chosen that weekend - most of the
    lunatics will be away.
    I rest my case.
I would say likewise, but there are already far too many "you're a gay"
    posts these days.
Makes a change from the usual "and, of course, I want to ride your MV"
tack. I'm not sure which is more frightening tbh.

Certainly. Would you like me to follow it up with a 'Mwahahahahaha' as
    I walk away?
    You're welcome.

    What is this anti-3X business?

The only time I dealt with them was when I bought the Quota, and they
    seemed OK.

I'll admit that the salesman I dealt with was very profesional - he
cunningly managed to steer me away from negotiating a price off the
Quota, instead I found myself haggling over the CBR I wanted to
part-exchange and ended up paying the full asking price, but then I'm
    crap at negotiating anyway.

I'd be vaguely interested, though perhaps not enough to ride all the
way down there if they still did Guzzis, but last time I looked it
    seemed that they don't.

Before I start - surely the Morini Corsaro 1200 should be in the demo
fleet as they are the official importers?

Apropos of that ,the reason I am anti 3X is how IMHO they double crossed
Voxan. As I understand it if it wasn't for them official UK exports
would have started by now. Full details on request (perhaps better of
list as walls may have ears).

To add insult to injury see:

Unfortunately I think I'll be heading up North on Family visiting
    business that day.

Shame as the last time I went to a 3X open day I got to wheelie a lovely
900SS, rode a 750 Paso with a bloody awful gearbox [1] and best of all
holding a Mito 125 flat out in 7th.

No intention of buying anything of course.

My mate learning to stoppie on their 851 was well worth seeing too.

[1] which was nice as having gone to Monaco with a mate with a 750 Paso,
I got more familiar with taking the fairing off to fix things than I
really wanted to - someone else could fix it this time

    them..

I don't think it was coined on Usenet. Certainly the first reference I
can find to it on uk.rec.motorcycles appears not to be the first time
    anyone knew about it.

    Anyway, for Krusty's benefit - it's quite simple - it's basically the
challenge to blag a ride on someone's bike *and* shag their
wife/girlfriend, both within a 24 hour time period.

For an extra challenge, play the game using the "Bonwick Variation",
which is anal sex and 12 hours.

I dunno - someone letting me shag their missus up the arse and ride
their bike in the same day sounds like a very good friend indeed.
