Nah, see the way it works is this..... When you reach 21 you start going
backwards again, so the actual point at which you hit zero - the official
starting point (except I'm a mathematical cabbage so I'm probably wrong) is
42... You know, the magical number - the answer to the Ultimate Question
about Life, the Universe and Everything....

So anyway.... Life begins at 42, but 40 is just a fun milestone (from
    memory....)

    Hope it was good anyway!

  6. I supose you put some "deep thought" into that!
I wish I could remember 40 ,, I am told I had fun. well at least most of the
    night.
I'll second that and add that any day above ground is a good day.

Try folding up a beer-coaster and wedging it under one of the legs.
    That should stop the rocking.

Actually you have to be careful what images you put in it, thats where
    the rocking came from, overbalancing.

Well, given we'll live a lot longer than our parents and grandparents,
it's actually not that unfair. The majority of males born around
1900-1910 were dead by 60-65 (IIRC the curve, they started dropped off
the twig in serious numbers their late 30s to early 40s and by 65
something like 2/3rds of those born in that decade (excluding infant
mortality) were dead). Nowadays the death rate under 50 is much lower
than that, and most anyone born between 1945 and 1960 can expect to
live to at least 75 (and a decent slug will do much better than that).

It's also true in the sociological sense of behaviour patterns, as a
society over the last 30 years we're having families later and doing
many things into our 30's that used to be pretty much over by mid 20's
    for previous generations

    JL
(I did read all this stuff really closely about a decade ago for a
major assignment, but its getting fuzzy now)
