550 four-k

  1. reasonably fine afternoon, so I took the mobile smokescreen generator out
for a blast and went over to Glasbury to have a look at the 550 four-K
that's been parked there with a crappy for sale notice on it for the last
    month or so...

'orrid 4-into-1 Motad, front mudguard looks good, most of the chrome looks
good, in fact, back mudguard not so good, and has a crack in it, so probably
rusted inside, might be recoverable and rechromable. All seems to be
    present.

It's not orrid honda brown, as I'd thought, more a sort of very dark brick
red sort of colour. Tank and side panels are there, apparently with correct
badges, bit of rust on the tank. Clocks don't match.

all in all, it's a project. Dunno what price, but there's a mobile number
    for it.

Austin Shackles. www.ddol-las.fsnet.co.uk my opinions are just that
"The breezy call of incense-breathing Morn, The swallow twittering
from the strawbuilt shed, The cock's shrill clarion, or the echoing
horn, No more shall rouse them from their lowly bed."
