Glad to hear you're OK and don't too much damage.
The habit of indicating when turning really pisses me off.

Hahahahahaha, you're kidding right? Might as well subcribe to a lifetime of
All Bran and News a 4:30 while you're at it. Honda = boring as bat shit.

A better ride in a myraid of ways. Atleast you feel like you're riding a
bike, not a shopping trolley. Aka. CBR1000RR

I'm sure there were other things that could be done other than just jumping
on the brakes. I have only had one person do that to me (they were turning
into a street, not a driveway) and my first reaction was to take the turn
myself. Which meant I managed to miss the other vehicle and judging by the
look in their eyes scared them off doing the same thing again for at least 2
hours :) Not that that would neccesarily work if they were turning into a
driveway. Not that that is guaranteed to work, because I tried the same
thing in my car one time. The other driver was turning right from the
turning lane accross 3 lanes of traffic (I was in the left lane of the lanes
he was turning accross) so I swong hard left but he still got me (but only
just), which was still less of an impact than plowing into the guy (I had a
lovely big heavy old car, he had a plastic Commodore).

That's all a matter of perception. To some, it's an indicator,
to others, it's a "thank-you for letting me in" light.

And to a great many it serves no practical purpose but the law says you
have to flash it when you're turning...

IIRC 95dB is twice as loud as 91 and 98 would be double again, so yes,
the Falco WOULD be easier to hear.

But yeah, the "I know where he is cos I checked 10 mins ago" mentality
was almost definitely the case here (having got the full and graphic
description on Sat night), she said as much. Witnesses apparently said
she pretty much did the stomp and brake and reef the steering wheel left
    exercise as well.

    3db is double. 91db to 94db is double... then 94db to 97db.

  11. Yeah, because I was being totally serious with that comment... No
sarcasm, no tongue-in-cheek, no cynicism - it was complete 100%
    literalism.
