    Well, I'd swap similar volumes of Coopers Stout for similar volumes of
    Southwark Stout. (and I like Coopers Stout!)

    It's just not obtainable here in Sydney. :-(

    but they export Fosters as the "AUSSIE MANS BEER".. last time I had a
    fosters 25yrs ago it was fuckin hideous then, and would be now.

    I think the Fosters they export is not the same as the local recipe. I
    seem to recall they released "Fosters Export" in Australia a few years ago.

    I'm told (don't know how to verify it) that the Fosters sold in Europe
    is made by Stella Artois under licence and is actually quite drinkable
