Therein lies a small confession.

I did the deal last weekend, and picked it up midweek. Thanks to a
fair bit of evening and morning bimbling it's had the first service
this weekend.

My plan was to turn up all nonchalant at the scout hut, but after the
ride I had today I couldn't not post. It's still got a good few miles
before it gets opened up proper too.

thoughts on What it does better than the Triumph and what does it do
worse?

Get a steering damper. I had to screw mine up even higher than normal
to stop it flapping about on Saturdays ride and that was in the wet.

Yes. The new model also has underseat exhausts, restyled headlights
and isn't as nasty as the older model which is probably why Chris was
searching for an older model.
