It may bring out the spirit of the blitz, but if this nonsense is going
to happen every fortnight what is going to happen to real estate prices
    around the capitol?

With any luck they'll come down to levels so that normal people on

  3. If this is going to happen every two weeks I will have personally killed
all the suicide bombers in this country within the next month or so.

    Bloody morons that they are.

    have your guts for garters."

    From the BBC:
Sir Ian warned against "smearing" any particular community with the
    blame for Thursday's attacks.
"These are criminal acts and we are in pursuit of a set of criminals,"
    he said.

    and

Ken Livingstone said he was not surprised London had been attacked
    again.
The evacuated Uxbridge Road in Shepherds Bush
People were kept well away from the sites of the attacks
"Those people whose memories stretch back to the 70s, 80s and 90s will
remember there were horrifying bombing campaigns in London," he said.
"We got through that and we'll get through this."

So basically, London folks, everyone knows what wider group the
perpetrators come from. It could be stopped. There isn't the political
will to do so. Just the Provo situation all over again. Enjoy your
    regular dying now.

  9. Oh they'd be dead before they try to kill anyone else. These people need
    getting rid of.

How do you know who they are before the obvious? How are you going to
    police this?

I bet you that poofs spreading AIDS have killed more people than
suicide bombers. Shall we kill all of them, too, just in case?

Paul, you sound like a nazi, and that doesn't square too well.

Sounds like a plan. And anyone caught exceeding the speed limit.
They are way too much of a danger to the general public.

As would airport style security checks? OK a terrorist attack would'nt
have the same sensational effect as a detonation on a moving vehicle,
but imagine the airless inconvenience of queuing and extra half hour to
get on the underground and the potential for horror in those packed
aisles. Keep it open; most Europeans' families have taken losses and
borne terror over the last century that makes this latest crew of
shitters seem trivial. Nasty they are but I say ****' em, bring it on.

Your two quotes don't seem to have anything to do with your assertion.

Would you solution to IRA violence have been to kill all irish
    catholics (i.e. the wider group)?

Does it matter? I've been a Parsec closer to this for almost 25 years
and Provo could have been dealt with while still avoiding a WWII repeat.
The current boyo's the same. I think Israel is a case in point that
half hearted Nazi'ism, attractive as it might seem to some, doesn't work
    either.

Just slightly, yes. I mean, you've obviously got hold of the magic
solution to the world's troubles that everyone else has been searching
for all these years; the least you could do would be to give us a clue
    as to what it is.

Well in the Provo case, a starter for 10, total failure by the British
government to use it's very considerable leverage on the US and Irish
governments to cut off the flow of money and arms. Not rocket science,
not hard and no more than both of those overseas governments have now
done, US much more effectively still, post the September 11th attacks.

In both the US and Ireland there were politicians and civil servants
tolerated who gave practical support to mass murdering terrorists.

Within the UK there was a failure to intern or deport (possibly large
numbers) of people providing support and encouragement to said MMT.

I see parallels with the current situation.
