XV (and Virago) are V engine, not parallel twins. TDM was 850cc.

  4. Since when is an XV or Virago a parallel twin?

    Super-Tenere is a parallel twin 750 (XTZ750), late 80's

TDM is an 850 and now a 900 never a 750, so it's out too.

  5. There was a Super-Ténére with the 850 in it though (Raid rally use only)

  7. 25 years takes you to 1980, no 750 road twins since then I can remember,
like Zebee said, the TX750 back in the mid 70's, but no road parallel twin
    750's since from Yamaha. The XS750 was a triple, XV750 is a v-twin, fz750
    is a four etc. The TDM850 is a road bike, but it's an 850, not a 750.

.... and the Super Ténéré was a 750cc 4-stroke parallel twin,
    so you're right there.

Someone said something about road bikes: well, it's road registerable
therefore it's a road bike, right Hammo?

XS750 ? Does that squeak into the time frame ?

    JL
(can't think of any others, TRX was an 850)

Squeaks in a little easier if you remove the middle cylinder ...

Hi Nev, there are apparently a few roads about but I haven't been on any
rides yet. The traffic cops are pretty bad here apparently - they can
estimate your speed and it sticks in court, blah.

There's a nice road down round the back of the Sterling ranges with no cops.
The only place I ever hit the double ton in my old dunnydore was down there :)
