84 XC 500 Husky

    Hi,

    I'm new to this group, but I've been riding and wrenching since the
    seventies. I'm helping a friend with a 500 husky, and was wondering if
    anyone had the timing spec and the initial carb settings for one of
    these. I've ordered a manual, but it's going to take more than a week,
    and I'd sure like to get him going, not to mention reclaim some room in
    the garage.

    Vance Smith can help you with the timing specs. He's a really good
    fellow.
    He sure helped me. Tell him that Jim Cook sent you.
