91 octane shortage ?????

    Just saw on the news that people are whining that 91 is unavailable and they
    are forced to buy the more expensive 95 & 98 blends.

    Am I the only one or do others think petrol companies are playing games with
    us ?

    Never doubted it.

    However - my experience lately is that only 91 is available - I have a
    hell of a time finding 98!

    Had that happen at the local servo a few years back, however they were
    selling 95 octane at 91 octane prices instead. That was the first and
    only time my lawn mower has run on premium :)
