Where do you live? I can think of quite a few UK roads I'd happily do that speed on. Heh. There is that, of course... -- _______ ..'_/_|_\_'. Ace (brucedotrogers a.t rochedotcom) \`\ | /`/ GSX-R1000K3 `\\ | //' BOTAFOT#3, SbS#2, UKRMMA#13, DFV#8, SKA#2 `\|/` `
I'm getting that way myself. I do still tend to stick to 30 and 40 limits, but not as strictly as I used to. Solid whites I frequently ignore, especially in light traffic.
The babes were looking fine today... Well I'm not quite sure what this B12 is doing flat out, something round about the mark. The speedo isn't designed for that sort of registration. In the cage easy peasy.

I'll just ride at a speed which I consider is safe for the conditions and circumstances. Anywhere and everywhere. And if that means doing 40-50 in a deserted 30 zone, or doing 20 in a busy 30 zone because kids are running everywhere, that's the way it's played.

Obviously I don't know if it's the same authority responsible for both policies, but still. This is the up side.
Vince wasn't fast, he just looked like he was going quickly because he'd almost no control over what the bike was doing.
The difference is that Vince was always trying to catch up what he'd lost on the open roads by driving like a **** in traffic.
