954 Fireblade

Anyone know who would have one available for test rides in Melb? Seems the Honda Dealers can't get
any to use as demo's as they're running them out cheaply at the moment. Not even HART has one
available.

We've put a deposit down on one conditional on us test riding one. Not really fr me, but more so we
can see if Jeanette can live with one on a daily basis. She's about 5'1" (maybe an inch taller) so
finding one that suits both of us (I'm happy with anything that has 2 wheels and an engine) is the
trick.

Sadly no-one has any available for test rides. Jeanette has sat on a couple in the showrooms and
felt happy enough with it. Felt happier with it than with the 600 F4i which has a rock hard seat,
other than that the height is very similar. We're going back in on Saturday to see if they're happy
for her to maneouvre one around the floor.

If we can't get a test ride we'll probably still buy it as Jeanette has been riding a 1992 CBR600
regularly. That thing is 30kgs heavier than the 954 and a fraction bulkier, and she's handled that
without too much hassle.

A test ride is really just to confirm our gut feelings.

BTW, not sure what Melbourne is offering, but Action Motorcycles in
Parramatta is doing them for 15k ride away. Pretty awesome, it's definately
got me drooling!
