I remember an RAF film from circa 1979 outlining the downside of fucking
about with an SLR.

These were somehow before the more recent H&S crusades and I think a
genuine attempt to show what could go wrong. The ones that still stick
in my mind are the screwdriver through a palm and rings cutting

Both are a bit fucked and I've cable tied the airbag behind the
steering wheel on mine.

I didn't realise that the seat belts did some kind of rapid tensioning
thing when the airbag went off so now I have to have the seatbelt done
up but behind my arse to stop it setting off a rather loud alarm all
the time.
