Cat's aunt dropped by for a visit and brought this photo along. It's of Cat's grandfather when he was 19, on his 1929 Ariel.

(Bikes have changes but the roads haven't)

 

Actually many of the roads have changed. This pic was taken in Launceston, and many roads he ran that bike on were still dirt roads.

 

Oh yeah......and Will has the same cheeky grin as well. Definitely runs in the family.

 

And he thoroughly enjoyed that ride GS. It well and truly made his day.

 

It certainly does!

 

Thanks Dale, that grin says it all. I hope all of our families have a fond
picture of us on a bike for future generations to see.

Me Dad rode
me Pop rode (and raced) - the family car was a triumph with a sidecart..
and im pretty sure his dad rode on similar things to that one, ill have to
get photos of em one day...
