A daft idea that was.....

Noted the black cloud coming towards 'the Toon' from the North. I'm
heading south, so hop out of work a few minutes early hoping to miss it.

As I got onto the FJ, sans waterproofs, it started to hail, a little!

No worries, it's only just started, and the sky is still blue where I'm
heading.

Right!

I got fucking soaked all along the A1 until I got off at Durham, where
it's only just started to rain now, two fuckin' hours later.

I'll be drying out me leathers tonighty then.

 

I was going to head up to the hill but saw the black clouds and decided to
give it a miss.
Just had a blast round darlington, popped into my mates then went back home.
Just got it back indoors when the heavens opened.

The A43/A14 route I take home in the wet is often a weather trap, being
arranged in a valley. I managed to skip between the dark green skies and
stay dry yesterday despite frequent downpours during the day.
Let's hope I'm as lucky for the rest of the week.

 

Well, today I was wearing my emergency spare suit, which is waterproof.
And of course it didn't rain.
