10% more torques across the range. Still a fair bit of money.

Ah, I never looked at the graph. I was just going on:
    and trying to be ironic.

    Must try harder.

Has nobody ever told you? Torque is cheap.

Yes, yes. But is it 15-20mph quicker everywhere?

So how much, in total, has this cost?

    You assume correctly.
Oh no it's not. But don't forget, it's not so much as the figures it's the
    curves that count.

    Just to restate my objectives:

    1) I wanted to have louder and sexier cans. The answer were a pair of Micron
    bought on eBay for £250.

    2) I needed to beef up the mid range and smooth out the lower revs. (Not
that brilliant from new). I either needed to have the secondary (I think
that's what they are) throttle butterflies removed or some other method of
opening them earlier. An intelligent TRE seemed to be the solution but I've
been told that the fuelling would have to be adjusted and it's well worth
getting everything set up on the dyno. The TRE was included in the dyno
    costs.

    3) To improve the fuelling I would have to purchase a Power Commander III
USB. I bought hits and a K+N air filter for £168 from the USA.

Finally I paid for the dyno time.

    Cost so far:
    Micron Exhausts = £250
Power Commander and Air filter = £168
Dyno tune and TRE = £211

    Total = £629

Money well spent, the bike is brilliant now.

If you're happy with it then it's been worth every penny.

Good point, well made, though with me being a Bassett boy I tend to
think of Swindon as local and Cheltenham as "oop North"

Mine gained almost that much by fitting a K&N but it's sadly down on
    Molly's figures.
