  3. If that's their primary mode of motivation.

  4. I'd prefer police to fixed speed cameras. Especially as new camera
installations can be set to trigger on the limit in the first day or
two of operation (or any time after and there is no way to fight
    a case against one).

Police can at least use common sense.

respond to your repetitive, empty nonsense. Byeeee!

Yup, we do. I expect you'll be confused about it though.

  10. Of course it is. Who in their right mind would manually push a scooter that
has several kilos worth of motor on it, when you can get the motor to push you?

It's kinda like buying a car because you like the leather seats and the
supplied audio system, but you prefer to push it around. The fact it has a
motor is only secondary to your purchase considideration.

  11. That's interesting, the judge can set the fine to suit the individual case,
but what happens with the demerit points? They also vary depending on how
much you exceed the limit by >15, 15-30, 30-45, 45+. If I were to just pay
the fine, I know how many points to expect. If I get it dealt with in court
    how are the demerits allocated?

That's up to the RTA, not the Magistrate. Although,
the Magistrate can disqualify your licence.

If the radar beam travels to a vehicle at the speed of light, and reflects
back to the radar at the speed of light it would "instantaneously" measure a
    speed of 0kph won't it?
