Evidently he's not the only one who isn't smarter than that...

Well... if he partakes in the ridiculous usenet arguments, then complains
about the lack of appreciation for the effort he put into participating in the
ridiculous arguments, it does make me wonder why he would bother and what his
    real motives are.

No, he ain't, and there are hundreds of posts stretching back a number
of years to make that evident.
As opposed to receiving verbal fellatio from one...

Yoo know Spooky will deny it vehmently and call you a liar then Shane
will drop in and ask you to name your friends to him so he can send IAD
    in to investigate them.

I think people might be picking an argument because he's a self-opinionated
autocratic goose. The fact that he's a cop is only confirmation.

I'm acquainted with several car drivers, and a few of them over the years
have said that they're so pissed off when motorbikes overtake them that
they'll swing into the wrong lane if they happen to be using their mirrors
and see a pass coming. It doesn't happen very often, of course.

The problem is Spooky, that you don't just dispense advice, there's a lot of
nyah nyah nyah going on too.
You seem to approach your responses with the belief that the law is always
100% undeniably always correct. It's quasi-religious sometimes the way you
    go on.
The law is simply a man-made attempt to best fit a set of rules to reality.
It can never be perfect, there will always be holes where innocents get
punished and the guilty go free. As an agent of the law I would expect you
of all people to recognise this fact.

Great to see a fellow member in the same spot as me, and on the same day 7
Dec??? Myself first time in court for road rage when a woman pulled out
from L/H kerb in front of me and i had no where to go but around her, but
with another vehicle reversing from drive on R/H.

I managed to get around her safely and come to Stop sign where i got out of
my car asked the woman if she loved her children sitting in the back seat.
She told me to get back in my car and go on my merry way when I seen red and
kicked the front guard of her car causing some $400 in damage. She reported
me etc I said it was me when the police asked me about it and I pleaded
    guilty.

With no Lawyer I walked away with $200/12mth Good Behaviour Bond and $400
restitution, no criminal conviction either no court costs nor fine. Age 44
and of the feminine kind, I have learnt my lesson. Judge said he could see I
was suitably embarassed about being here in the first place with no previous
history. I think the way I dressed (conservatively) helped too. I thought
you were supposed to go to court dressed respectably etc and be quite etc
but seen it all when young mother goes up to answer drug charges holding 3
yr old daughters hand standing beside her in the dock. What is this world
    coming too.

Meanwhile went into registry to pay $400 restitution 15 mins after I got out
of court and told lady I wanted to pay this order for restitution and then
she looked at me and asked how much I would like to pay on that and I said
$400 please and she looked at me weird. She must have thought I wanted a
time payment plan cause I am listed as pensioner, I then later heard that
most offenders are unemployed and on welfare so they have no choice but to
lay-by their fines and pay them off. Both hubby and I both on welfare since
his work accident 5 yrs ago, own 2 cars 3 bikes 1 trailer all with rego, we
rent, we owe nobody, own everything including new bikes. Just a case of
managing your money and not waste it.

Hubby just bought me new VTR250 for my birthday and he bought himself CB1300
Have to learn to control my temper when I get on the bike otherwise some
pr*#k will kill me. Part of the reason for buying a bike to relax and
unwind. not stress on the road but to not have stupid people do stupid
things in front of me when I finally get out on the road completely and me
not losing my cool and punching the next pr*#ks lights out if they hit me
    and my new bike.

Well at least the 19 yr old girl before me did go to jail on her fourth DD
charge in unregistered uninsured unlicensed false plates did. I had a clean
record up until now. I just happen to lose my cool over somebody's else's
    stupidity.

That's the biggest problem with corrections: it's nigh on
impossible to figure out just how much punishment you need
to dole out to any given individual to deliver a suitably
firm 'lesson' and to effect an appropriate behaviour
modification. At this point, she's probably learned from her
mistake and is, in my estimation, relatively (as compared to
you) unlikely to re-offend, whereas you clearly haven't learned
a damn thing from *your* mistake, and will probably be right
back at it again next time some poor bastard happens to behave
in a manner that you deem sufficiently 'stupid' to warrant
dispensing with the self control that society expects of you.

Why, I'd be willing to bet that you'll have lost your temper
again by the time you've read as far as this sentence and
that you're already wishing you knew where I lived so you
could personally (and probably physically) 'reprimand' me
    for my 'stupidity'.
