Well that's another thing that shits me Neil, car or bike and, if it's any
consolation to you, there was a post here a year-or-so back from a bloke
saying how he was trying real hard to stop a car from being able to
overtake him on the Great Ocean Road and he got pretty roundly abused so
it's not all bikies who have this chip on their shoulders... just a minor
98%-or-so....

I duuno if I x-posted this to aus.moto before, but one time that
*really* stands out to me with this was when I was caught behind a
learner on a bike (fair enough), and I moved over and waved through a
guy on a fairly big bike (750 or bigger). He didn't pass the learner
until we hit some broken lines (once again, fair enough), but he took
the whole 800m of overtaking space to do it - bastard! I thought he
might have had a broken right wrist or something, but as soon as the
overtaking place was passed, he disappeared into the distance - double
bastard! I mean, if I'd caught him up and was sitting behind him, I
can see that he *might* think "stuff the cager", but when I did
everything I could to let him past, I thought I might have been given
a bit more in return... <shrug> ah well, just goes to show that shit
doesn't just happen, arseholes make it happen.
