    It's kinda slow, today.
I reckon some are resting their fingers.
I'm glad I've gotta nuther group, to check with. It pays to have more
than one group to cuss and discuss important issues, and
    talk about MotorBikes.

    (main Post here)

‘‘I'm going to the hospital to check on Big Tony.’’
Big Tony, from Greenwood mississippi, was my first real Riding Pardner,
    in about
    73. As far as my area goes, he and I kinda got Riding on trips started.
Well, he had an emergence 4 bypass surgery Tuesday evening.
Yesterday the Doctor said his chances are 50/50. He's on full Life
support. The Doc said that's not too normal, for someone to be on full
Life support. Usually they're ONLY, on the Breathing aparatus, to give
the heart a few hrs, of rest. Doc told us, that Big Tony probably will
be hooked up 48 hours of which is serious.

I wanna check with RGDon, and alert him, that I'm crossPosting this,
because I thought there could possibly be a Reeky friendly, that would
care. This is about Bikes, and not about some kinda nonsense.

It has been 7 days now, and my friend is not showing any improvement.
He's still on full life support. I will go to see about him tonight. I
have never lost a real close friend.
I want to thank 6 friendlies in this txMoto group, for reading this
    post, and actually commenting.
Thanks to Another Viewer, Albert Nurick, Beemer Biker, Bill fright,
    Bownse, & RL.
It proves to me how nice some folks can be in here, and, actually we
don't even know one another. (Bjay) July 5th.

  6. that's no fun BJ and a week on life support isn't great, but it's not
the absolute end. not knowing any details, and not wanting to ask, i'll
just say give it another week and hope for some improvement in that
time. if not, then nature will likely take it's course and there's not
much anyone can do but put off the inevitable. it's always judged in
hindsight but sometimes it's best to let things happen as they should
even though it hurts like hell for the survivors.

my best friend and a life long pal since high school died 8 years ago
this October of a heart attack at the age of 43. it still rips me up
    from time to time. 8^(

I am very sorry to hear that your friend hasn't improved. I'll keep praying
for him and for you too, Bjay.
No problem Bjay. That is what friends are for. After all, we are friends
    who just haven't met yet.

    Take care.

I went to Big Tony's funeral, Friday, 7-08-05.
Now,he'll get to go back to Greenwood, Ms. where the grave side services
    will be.
I won't be able to drive along with them.

He has an old 73, 900 Kawasaki. I am thinking of trying to buy it from
    Linda.
Keep it in the family, so to speak.
    We'll see.

  12. I'm sorry BJ, it's not easy even, when you know it's time.

Get the 900, clean it up and keep it good repair. it will remind you of
him and help to fill in the void of his absence. Hang in there.

    The H1 & H2 were 500 & 750 two stroke triples, respectably.
There was also a 350 two stroke triple, perhaps designated as he
    H.07. <g>

The later, but early, 900 was a four stroke inline four, referred to
    as a Z1, as I recall.

‘‘Thanks, jonathon, You're nice to respond and I appreciate it
mucho’’ I'll tell ya, I cried at the visitation, the night before.
Been aaaaaawhile, but he was like a brother. I keep having video memory
of the life and times of him and me. I got out some old photos. Some
showed us camped along side our Bikes at some KOA's across the country.
He and I have pitched our one-man tents all over the country. We've
pulled up in odd areas and pitched our tents at 3AM, many times. What
    memories, and I'll never forget.

‘‘yeah, I remember, it is the Z1.
It was the inline 4, but before that, the Honda 750 inline 4, was the
bike to have, till this 900 Socki powerboomer came along, I
    remember.’’ (bjay)

  17. i know how you feel BJ, it just comes in waves and there's not much you
can do for a bit. Best thing i've found is to tell the glory stories to
others, you find yourself laughing and crying at the same time but it
keeps both of yours stories alive by sharing them to be retold again.
it never really goes away, and it shouldn't, it just seems to hurt a
little less over time. outside expressions of caring are fine and
always apprecieated, but they never get as deep as what -you- know.

try and smile thru it buddy, you and he shared great times no one else
    will understand.
